Hello everyone.  It sure has been a while since I have posted anything on here, mainly due to the fact that I haven't bowled worth a (bleep) for the first half of the year.  Well that plus the fact that I just recently got my own place (well until the wife and stepdaughter moved in) and getting married this past October.  Tonight was the best I've bowled since the final week of last season.  I had games of 241, 243, and 218 for a 702 series.  What made it even better was the fact that I didn't have a single open the entire night.  I think the USBC needs to come up with some kind of award for people who go an entire 3 game series without an open.  That is not the easiest thing to do.  I think this was the fourth or fifth clean series that I have ever bowled.  We took over first place after tonight.  Hopefully we can stay there the rest of the year.

Hello all.  Well Monday night we started our fall league.  We only have 5 teams in the league, well 6 if you count the house.  There may be 4 more teams next week though.  I hope that it happens.  Well one of my goals for this year was to have a higher average than I did last year, which was a 212.  I'm hoping I can get it to as high as 215.  After the first 2 games though, it wasn't looking too promising.  I had games of 194 and 189, so I needed a 262 to average 215.  Well let's just say a 4 pin cost me a 290.  I had a spare in the first frame, strung out the next 7, then threw the ball just a bit inside my target.  It had carried for me most of the night, but this time it didn't, and I left a 4 pin.  I ended up with a 269, so I got my 215 average plus a couple of pins.  217 would be a nice average to carry the whole year, but I don't know if I could keep it there.  I hope I can.
